BraunAbility was founded with an innate commitment to improve the lives of people with disabilities because we have always built solutions through the eyes of our consumers. Today, we are one of the most well-known and trusted names in the mobility industry, and we remain devoted to this purpose.
To reinforce our purpose, we continue to make inclusion a priority inside and outside the walls of our organization through the following actions:
- Partnering with disability candidate referral sources like the Gregory S. Fehribach Center and Ball State University to reach more employment candidates with disabilities through internship and mentorship programs.
- Ensuring new BraunAbility locations and remodel constructions are designed to meet the highest standards of accessibility to ensure it is well-suited for employees with mobility challenges.
- Creating disability awareness and etiquette training to decrease stigma, establish foundational understanding and enhance employee accommodation process knowledge.
- Impacting our local communities and the broader disability community through our social impact platform, Drive for inclusion. We unite and listen to the voices of people with mobility disabilities, and mobilize this group, along with employees and volunteers, to take action to improve accessibility and inclusion.
