We have been recognized as a Top Employer for 9 consecutive years and are pioneers in Romania for accessibility and inclusion. Our initiatives include adapting workspaces and making them accessible, tailoring checkouts for wheelchair users, conducting internal awareness training about inclusion and developing customer awareness programs such as the Diversity Carts in Kaufland stores, especially promoted during May’s European Diversity Month.
Kaufland is also a signatory of the Diversity Charter and a Founding Corporate Member of the Romanian Diversity Chamber of Commerce.
We are proud to be the first company in Romania to join the Valuable 500 in the year that marks the fifth anniversary of our A.C.C.E.S program (Employment of Candidates with Special Requirements and Developments).
