L’Oréal’s Valuable 500 Commitment:
L’Oréal’s mission is to be the most inclusive beauty leader in the world and to contribute to a society in which everyone can live safely, peacefully and equally.
We believe that diverse teams with diverse perspectives are more adept at understanding different ideals of beauty, helping us to create the beauty that moves the world.
The inclusion of persons with disabilities has been a key pillar of our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy for over 20 years and L’Oréal was one of the first signatories of the ILO Global Business and Disability Network Charter in 2015.
We commit to the following priorities:
-
Promote the recruitment of persons with disabilities in all countries. Our goal is to have at least 2% of employees with disabilities by 2025 including countries without specific local regulations.
-
Encourage employees to disclose their disabilities, and feel secure in so doing, so that we can provide support and reasonable accommodations, and ensure that everyone can benefit from the same opportunities and experiences.
-
Raise awareness and combat stigma and stereotypes to challenge how people think about disabilities.
-
Promote physically and digitally accessible workplaces and commercial sites.
-
Collaborate with experts, associations, NGOs and with our suppliers, consumers and local communities to advance disability inclusion both within and outside the Group.
At L’Oréal, we believe in beauty that is inclusive, generous and sustainable and that is there to do good both for people and planet.
