UBS’s Valuable 500 Commitment:

Central to our purpose is connecting people for a better world for all of us – a world that’s fair, sustainable and gives everyone the opportunity to thrive. Taking our purpose as our north star, stakeholders across the organization have defined a comprehensive set of global disability inclusion commitments that we’re now acting upon.

Key among these stakeholders are our Ability employee networks. They’re integral to driving and embedding our global disability inclusion strategy, and we’re committed to enhancing their visibility, expanding their global footprint, and increasing their impact.

Practically speaking, an ongoing recruitment process review aims to grow our talent pool and strengthen both our accessibility and our ability to support the recruitment, integration and career mobility of people with disabilities. Additionally, given that awareness and education are central to building a fully inclusive culture, we’re adding to our learning offering and leveraging external experts to increase employees’ confidence in working with colleagues and clients with disabilities. We also have launched a global accessibility task force. Its aim is to increase our physical and digital accessibility by implementing a firm-wide accessibility standard and providing a barrier-free workplace and client experience.

Looking ahead, we’re dedicated to doing even more in this space to foster full disability inclusion across our organization.
