As part of the Valuable 500, we at Wix, commit to continuing to improve our advanced accessibility features and the built-in accessibility of our products and components, to help our users build more inclusive websites. By doing this, we hope to make a significant percentage of the internet more accessible to a broader audience.
We will continue to:
● Monitor and update accessibility features according to WCAG, the international guidelines for standardized web content accessibility;
● Provide tools and assistive settings for users to design accessible sites, including accessible templates, presets, full keyboard functionality, alternative texts, heading tags, site language and more;
● Provide solutions designed to help our users make their content more accessible;
● Improve the experience for people with disabilities using Wix websites, by removing blockers and providing dedicated enhancements for assistive technology;
● Focus on inclusive design by continuing to implement an “Accessible by Design” approach to product creation and development throughout the company;
● Strive to create products that can be used by anyone, regardless of age and ability;
● Enhance the accessibility of our customer care platform and make sure all users receive the support they need to use our platform;
● Improve the accessibility of our site management platform, to make it more accessible to people with disabilities;
● Create dedicated training courses to help our users understand web accessibility and to teach them how to create sites that are accessible to all.
