Mastercard TOUCH movie: an inclusive cinematic experience.

“Touch,” a collaboration between Mastercard and Australian bank Westpac, is a film aimed at fostering inclusivity for people with disabilities. Directed by Tony Krawitz, this production utilises immersive sound effects, music, a powerful dialogue, and actors to narrate the story of a scientist captivated in his father’s brain following a failed laboratory experiment. Viewers are drawn into his journey through his father’s memories, gradually unraveling the complexities of a figure he thought he knew, as he tries to escape.

Positioned as a film without visual imagery, “Touch” offers sighted audiences a glimpse into the cinematic world as experienced by people with visual impairments.

Everybody has so much to share through storytelling. It’s a shame that anyone would miss out on that.
